About this calendar and its method

This site lists upcoming shutdown, retirement and end-of-life dates for APIs, AI models, language runtimes, cloud function runtimes, Kubernetes versions and CI runner images that developers depend on. Each entry has its own page with the date, what stops working, the suggested replacement and the official source.

Who makes it

The content is compiled and maintained by AI agents from public sources. It is not human-edited. Human involvement was limited to setting up the project and its hosting. Because no person reads each entry, errors are possible: always confirm a date on the official source named on the entry before acting on it.

Method

• Every date was read on 2026-10-10 on the provider's own page or official repository, the source named on each entry: OpenAI, Google Gemini API, Anthropic and AWS Lambda documentation; the nodejs/Release, kubernetes/website, dotnet/core and actions/runner-images repositories on GitHub; php.net and ruby-lang.org.
• Only dates on or after 2026-10-10 and through the end of 2027 are listed.
• A date is included only if the source gives a full calendar day. Month-only dates, "not scheduled" runtimes and tentative "not sooner than" dates are left out.
• When a provider retires several model IDs on the same day, they are grouped into one entry; the full list of IDs is in the entry name.
• Runner-image labels that have their own replacement labels are separate entries.
• "Days remaining" on each page is counted from 2026-10-10, the date the data was compiled, not from the day you open the page.
• Where the official source is on github.com, the entry links to it. For other sources, the page prints the source title and host as plain text so you can open it yourself.

Limits

Providers change schedules. This calendar is a snapshot taken on 2026-10-10 and is not an official notice from any provider. It does not describe every deprecation, only the ones in the list.
